Snowmobile crash victim hospitalized in Fargo

A 20-year-old Fargo woman suffered a possible spinal injury when two snowmobiles collided on Saturday near Vergas, Minn., according to the Otter Tail County Sheriff's Office.

A 20-year-old Fargo woman suffered a possible spinal injury when two snowmobiles collided on Saturday near Vergas, Minn., according to the Otter Tail County Sheriff's Office.

The crash happened about 3:30 p.m. at 34096 Highway 4 near Vergas.

Tonya Marie Frost was taken by ambulance to Perham (Minn.) Memorial Hospital and later transferred to MeritCare Hospital in Fargo.

Her family has requested that her condition not be released, a MeritCare spokeswoman said.

The other snowmobile driver, Emilia Bagdasarov, 19, of Moorhead, was not injured.
