Snowmobile safety class offered in West Fargo

The West Fargo Park District is sponsoring a snowmobile safety class from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Nov. 20 in the Veterans Memorial Arena Community Room, 1201 7th Ave. E., West Fargo. Cost is $20.

The West Fargo Park District is sponsoring a snowmobile safety class from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Nov. 20 in the Veterans Memorial Arena Community Room, 1201 7th Ave. E., West Fargo. Cost is $20.

The class will cover safe operation of snowmobiles, proper riding gear, riding techniques, helmet safety and North Dakota laws and guidelines.

Riders ages 12 and older are required to possess either a valid driver's license or a snowmobile safety certificate. The class is open to any age, but only those ages 12 and older will be certified.
