South High names homecoming royalty

FARGO - Lyndie Wicklund and Tyson Lytle have been named the Fargo South High School 2015 homecoming queen and king.

Wicklund, daughter of Derel and Gregg Wicklund, and Lytle, son of Sandy and Henry Lytle, were crowned at a ceremony Monday in the South High theater.

Other members of the homecoming court are Carli Carrier, Sarah Carter, Maddie Erickson, Rachel Green, Carly Johnson, Zoe Kienenberger, Carly Melander, Izzy Smith, Emily Stroup, Jacob Dybwad, Noah Johnson, Eli Simonson, Bucky Skiple, Nathan Staigle, Zeb Taber, Mason Wixo, Ethan Wold and David Youngs.

The homecoming pep fest will be at 12:50 p.m. Friday in the main gymnasium.

The South High band will provide music before the homecoming game starting at 4:15 p.m. Friday at the South Stadium Field.

The homecoming game follows at 5 p.m. against Fargo North.

The homecoming dance for South students and their guests will be from 8 to 11 p.m. Friday in the main gym.
