Surrounded by her colleagues and family, Fargo South High School social studies teacher Kathy Fisher was named the school district's Teacher of the Year this morning.
"You've touched my heart so much," Fisher told them after the surprise announcement. "It means the world to me."
She's taught in the Fargo for 22 years, and will now represent the school district in the state Teacher of the Year contest next fall.
