St. John's Lutheran Church in Barnesville, Minn., will serve a beef and turkey dinner Sept. 18 as a community benefit.
Serving from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., the event benefits the Helpers, a Living at Home block nurse program, and the St. John's benevolence fund.
Prices are $8 for adults; $5 for children 6 to 12; and free for children under 5.
The Clay County Chapter of Thrivent Financial for Lutherans will provide supplemental funds.
