Stanley R. Teal
Stanley Rome Teal, age 77, Ada, MN, died Tuesday, July 27, 2004, in Bridges Care Community, Ada, MN.
Stanley was born August 3, 1926, in Euclid, Minnesota, to Frederick and Irene Teal. He worked on the family farm until he was drafted to the US Army in 1945, where he served as a Military Policeman during WWII, he received various awards and citations during his tour in Germany. He was honorably discharged in 1946.
Stanley was united in marriage to Irene Mae Peck on June 10, 1953. They returned to Euclid, Minnesota, to work on the family farm and at American Crystal Sugar Company in East Grand Forks, Minnesota. In December of 1967, Stanley and his family moved back to Ada, where he was employed by the Minnesota Department of Transportation until his retirement in February 1990.
Stanley enjoyed gardening, bike riding, and spending time with his grandchildren. He was an active member at the Ada Senior Center and a member of the VFW Post 7557.

Stanley is survived by his wife, Irene, Bridges Care Community, Ada, MN; five children: David S. Teal, Billings MT; James Sr. (Brenda) Ada, MN; Christopher (Hope) Moorhead, MN; Jeffery, Ada, MN; Cynthia, Ada, MN; six grandchildren: James Jr., Andrew, Kayme, Samuel, Blaine, and Brooke, one brother: Robert (Dorothy), Wadena, MN; and one brother-in-law: Vernon Cormican, Crookston, MN. He was preceded in death by his parents, Frederick and Irene, and his only sister, Lillian Cormican.
Funeral: Thursday, July 29, 2004, at 11 AM; Grace Lutheran Church, Ada, MN.
Visitation: Wednesday, July 28, 2004, from 5-7PM; Grace Lutheran Church, Ada, MN.
Burial: Oakdale Cemetery, Crookston, MN.
