A storm Saturday morning overturned a boat in a fishing tournament on Otter Tail Lake just north of Battle Lake, Minn., authorities said.
High waves overcame one of three boats trying to get out of the storm when deputies responded to a call at 9:20 a.m. Saturday, according to a news release from the Otter Tail County Sheriff's Office.
The occupants of the boat that overturned, as well as the rest of the fishermen in the tournament, were later found unharmed, deputies said in the release.
State troopers, the Otter Tail County Water Patrol, and agents with the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources assisted with the search operation.
