GEORGETOWN, Minn. -High winds helped fan the flames of a shed fire about four miles northeast of here Wednesday afternoon.
Firefighters from Perley, Hendrum and Felton responded to the blaze at 1283 200th Ave. N. shortly after 3 p.m.
Strong winds continued to feed smoldering manure near a wooden shed and horse barn for more than an hour.
The homeowners were not home when the blaze started, but a neighbor was able to move horses on the property to safety.
