Starting Tuesday, Fargo drivers will need to pay extra attention to where they park at night.
Seasonal parking restrictions will return to the city and continue through April 15. The restrictions allow city employees to remove snow and perform critical street maintenance.
The city's night parking ordinance affects the areas from 19th Avenue North to 13th Avenue South and from the Red River to 25th Street. Any other areas designated by the appropriate signs also are affected, including the central business district, which has year-round restrictions, and sections of the city where parking is restricted on Fridays.
The ordinance also prohibits parking vehicles or trailers between 1 and 7 a.m. on east-west avenues on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays, and on north-south streets on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.
Vehicles violating the policy may be impounded by the Fargo Police Department.
