DILWORTH - Local law enforcement camped outside a Dilworth residence for about four hours Saturday, looking for a suspected felon wanted in Minneapolis.

Clay County Sheriff Bill Bergquist said his office received a call from the Minneapolis Police Department about 5 a.m. with information about a man wanted on a "serious felony warrant" who was living at 735 Center Ave. NW in Dilworth.

The Red River Valley SWAT team was called to residence about 9 a.m. and remained there until about 1:30 p.m.

Bergquist said officers talked with someone inside the residence but learned no new information about the suspect's whereabouts and left.

The sheriff said he didn't have many details about the man, the crime he is accused of or whether local police have dealt with him before.

Bergquist said if the public's safety was in question or officers needed help finding the man, his office would have distributed more information to media.
