Symphony orchestra to hold auditions

The Fargo-Moorhead Symphony Orchestra will hold auxiliary/sub list string auditions for the 2009-10 concert season Jan. 10 at the Reineke Fine Arts Center, Fargo.

The Fargo-Moorhead Symphony Orchestra will hold auxiliary/sub list string auditions for the 2009-10 concert season Jan. 10 at the Reineke Fine Arts Center, Fargo.

Those who have auditioned for the auxiliary/sub list within the past three years do not need to audition again. All candidates must submit a resume of performance and music study experience.

Application deadline is Jan. 2 and there is a refundable $25 application fee. Applicants will be notified of their audition time and other pertinent information after the deadline.

The orchestra is a professional, per-service orchestra that performs five pairs of Masterworks concerts and three to four Pops and family concerts during a season.
