Police arrested an 18-year-old Fargo man Tuesday night in connection with the armed robbery of a downtown Fargo Taco Bell earlier in the day.
Anthony Wayne Goodoien was arrested on suspicion of armed robbery at 7:55 p.m. in the parking lot of an apartment building at 818 Oak St., said Fargo police Sgt. Ross Renner.
Renner wouldn't say what led police to Goodoien because the investigation was ongoing and police were still seeking a second suspect in the robbery.
Police said two men wearing stocking caps and bandannas stole a large amount of cash Tuesday from the Taco Bell at 1001 1st. Ave. N.
The men entered the restaurant about 1:30 a.m. Tuesday, and one of them displayed a gun and demanded all of the money in the store, Sgt. Jason Nelson said. The female working the till didn't have access to the safe, but another employee did, Nelson said.

The two men took an unknown amount of cash from the till and safe and fled on foot northwest from the restaurant, he said.
Officers were called to the restaurant at 1:40 a.m. and used a K-9 unit to track the men to a location about half a block away, where police believe the men got into a vehicle, Nelson said.
The men were described as wearing stocking caps, bandannas and dark clothing and possibly being in their late teens or early 20s, he said.
