Tax Tour 2004, a program providing face-to-face tax help to people in areas with no local IRS offices, will visit 14 communities throughout North Dakota, including Carrington, Devils Lake, Fort Totten, Jamestown, Mayville, Valley City and Wahpeton.
IRS tax specialists will answer questions, hand out forms and publications and help with individual and business tax problems. Tax preparation assistance will be available to people with basic returns. No appointments are necessary.
Locations and times for the Tour are as follows:
- Carrington, City Hall, 103 10th Ave. N.; Feb. 2 from noon to 6 p.m. and Feb. 3 from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
- Devils Lake, Rural Fire Hall, 924 Highway 20 S.; Jan. 26 from noon to 4 p.m. and Jan. 27 from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m.
