The Texas turn from northbound Interstate 29 into the West Acres parking lot has been temporarily opened.
The North Dakota Department of Transportation said it will remain open into July, when more work is scheduled to make access into the parking lot permanent.
NDDOT is warning motorists to be careful because the road entering the turn is gravel. The road may be closed temporarily before July if heavy rains create uneven conditions on the gravel.
On Tuesday, workers will switch traffic from the west side of 38th Street immediately north of 13th Avenue to the east side of the road. Access will be maintained to all businesses on the west side of 38th Street.
