It had to end sometime. Still, you knew whenever it did it would be a surprise. Stephen-Arygle, holder of Minnesota's longest high school football winning streak, lost 7-0 to Kittson Central in the Minnesota 9-man Section 8 championship game today at the Alerus Center in Grand Forks.

Stephen-Argyle came into the game with a 76-game winning streak, and winners of five straight 9-man championships. The Storm had beaten Kittson Central 16-0 during the regular season.
