Three people were killed and three more injured Saturday in a two-vehicle crash in Richland County.
The North Dakota Highway Patrol said the crash occurred at 11:40 a.m. at the junction of Richland County roads 1 and 16.
A 1987 Oldsmobile was southbound on County Road 1 when it was struck on the driver's side by a 1998 Dodge Ram pickup, which was westbound on County Road 16. Both vehicles traveled into the southwest ditch, where the pickup rolled over onto its top.
Both occupants of the Oldsmobile and the driver of the pickup were dead at the scene, the Highway Patrol said. Three passengers in the pickup were taken to Fargo hospitals.
Names of those involved were not released, and no condition report on the injured was available.
