Three teens arrested in car break-ins

Three Dilworth and Moorhead teen-agers were arrested Wednesday for a series of car break-ins in Moorhead. Police spotted five people running at 2:40 a.m.

Three Dilworth and Moorhead teen-agers were arrested Wednesday for a series of car break-ins in Moorhead.

Police spotted five people running at 2:40 a.m. Wednesday near 16th Avenue and 18th Street South.

After a brief pursuit, three of the five people were apprehended and found to be in possession of stolen property.

Wayne Lewis Fuhrman, 18, Dilworth, and a 14-year-old Dilworth boy were arrested and charged with minor consuming alcohol, possession of stolen property and tampering with a motor vehicle.

A 14-year-old Moorhead girl was charged with possessing stolen property and obstructing the legal process.

Police said the burglarized vehicles were unlocked when the break-ins occurred.
