WEST FARGO - A woman here is getting some attention for the bathroom she designed in her house - for her cats.
The former hall closet-turned-cat bathroom has placed Jessica Kein among a group of finalists whose creative cat designs have earned them attention from cat litter company Tidy Cats' Pet Projects Design Challenge. The contest collects inventive cat-friendly designs and will award two of the finalists $10,000 for their designs and a trip to New York City where their concepts will be on display at a private gathering on October 3 featuring TV personality Candice Olson.
Kein's cat bathroom, which features specifically tiled floors and a wall-mounted cat scratcher so that her felines can get the litter out of their paws, is shown on the Tidy Cats website, www.tidycats .
Kein's bathroom is among the group of designs that are vying for the title. People can go to the website and vote for their favorite design. The voting ends Wednesday.
