The Rev. David Tiede will speak at Concordia College's mid-year commencement at 7:30 p.m. Dec. 16 in the school's Memorial Auditorium.
Tiede was president of Luther Seminary in St. Paul from 1987 to 2005. He will receive an honorary doctorate of divinity degree.
During the ceremony, Concordia will present bachelor's degrees to 84 graduates.
