HILLSBORO, N.D. - The search is on for a 37-year-old who never returned to the Traill County Jail after his work release July 19.

County Deputy Ran-dy Burk-hartsmeier said Paul R. Bartholomay is wanted for felony escape after not coming back from his Fargo workplace.

Bartholomay began serving a six-month sentence at the Traill County Jail on July 10. His original charges were DUI, driving under suspension, unauthorized use of a vehicle and fleeing.

Ransom County Sheriff Conrad Steinhaus received reports Bartholomay was near Sheldon driving a two-tone tan flatbed pickup, which is not confirmed.

Burkhartsmeier said Bartholomay is not considered dangerous at this time.
