FARGO – Mental Health America of North Dakota and the North Dakota Federation of Families for Children's Mental Health's annual Celebration of Lights Tree of Hope lighting ceremony will be at 4:45 p.m. Thursday east of the main entrance at West Acres mall.
State Rep. Kathy Hogan and state Sen. Judy Lee will light the tree. The event is free and open to the public.
The tree serves as a beacon of light to help erase the stigma of mental illness and is a reminder of the need for continued advocacy for children and adults with mental health needs and their families.
