A truck fell through the ice of Otter Tail Lake into about 12 feet of water late Saturday, according to the Otter Tail County Sheriff's Department.
The driver and a passenger escaped the vehicle before it submerged.
The accident happened at 10:53 p.m. Saturday on the east end of the lake as the driver was leaving the lake, according to the Sheriff's Department.
Ice was reported to be 14 inches thick where the vehicle went through.
