A national television audience won't be seeing "The View" from Fargo.

Fargo was named one of 15 cities in the running to have the ABC network morning talk show broadcast live from here. Fargo Theatre Executive Director Margie Bailly sent a tape in for the competition.

The four finalists were announced this week, but Fargo was not among them. Cities still in the running are Edmond, Okla.; Detroit; Charleston, S.C.; and Boise, Idaho.

"We're in the bottom 11," Bailly said.

The winner will be announced today on the ABC-TV talk show, which airs at 10 a.m. weekdays on WDAY, Channel 6.
