FARGO - Two Fargo men were arrested early Tuesday for conspiracy to produce methamphetamine, according to a release from the Cass County Sheriff's Office.

David Sether, 37, and Gary Delaney, 51, were arrested around 4:30 a.m. after deputies stopped to assist them about 20 miles south of Fargo and found ingredients common with methamphetamine production in their vehicle.

When the deputies pulled over to assist the vehicle at North Dakota Highway 46 and Interstate 29, they looked up Sether's license and found that he was driving under suspension, said Detective Joe Gress of the narcotics division. Deputies arrested Sether and impounded the vehicle, Gress said.

"When we impound something, our policy and procedure is to do an inventory on the vehicle," he said, and during the investigation, meth ingredients were discovered in the vehicle.

Gress said the ingredients were contained and were not dangerous to the public.
