HANKINSON, N.D. - Two men arrested over the weekend and charged with criminal trespass near here have also been charged with felony burglary.

Scott Harold Hoffman, 42, and Christopher Lee Pinks, 39, entered an abandoned residence in rural southern Richland County about 2 p.m. Saturday and removed a number of household items, according to a news release from Richland County Sheriff Larry Leshovsky.

After investigating, some of the items were recovered in a vehicle owned by Pinks, the release stated.

The two men, both from Fargo, were arrested after the landowner alerted police he caught them on his property.

The sheriff's office said Hoffman has several outstanding warrants in Fargo, Cass County and Burleigh County, N.D.
