Two Glyndon men arrested in string of Clay County burglaries

Clay County authorities have arrested two Glyndon men suspected of being involved in rural burglaries in Clay and Norman counties, Clay County Sheriff Bill Bergquist said.

Clay County authorities have arrested two Glyndon men suspected of being involved in rural burglaries in Clay and Norman counties, Clay County Sheriff Bill Bergquist said.

The arrests came after a deputy found a vehicle parked at a farmstead in rural Glyndon this morning that had been burglarized.

The owner of the vehicle later called authorities to say that his car had been stolen.

That led to a search of the vehicle owner's home and the seizure of three pickup loads worth of items, Bergquist said.

Some of the items seized today have already been tied to thefts in Clay and Norman counties, Bergquist said.

Bergquist said Shaun Patrick Carlson, 20, and David Leo Erickson, 19, were arrested and are being held in the Clay County Jail pending charges.
