FARGO - A 61-year-old man was cited for DUI after he crashed his pickup truck into a RoGator Chemical Applicator tractor Friday afternoon.

According to the North Dakota Highway Patrol, Charles Howington of Fargo was southbound on Interstate 29 when he took the interchange at Exit 56.

Howington didn't yield the stop sign at the top of the exit and hit an eastbound chemical applicator at a 90-degree angle, causing the tractor to roll to its side.

The RoGator was driven by Steven Haux, 55, of Kindred.

Both Howington and Haux were taken by ambulance to Fargo's Sanford Medical Center with injuries believed to be non-life-threatening.
