NEAR OTTERTAIL, Minn. – Two men were injured, one seriously, in a crash in Otter Tail County on Sunday morning.
Around 9:40 a.m., Dillon Spanswick, 24, of Ottertail was driving a Chevy Silverado north on Highway 78 near Rush Lake when a southbound Buick Park Avenue, driven by Zackary Willprecht, 20, of Breckenridge crossed the center line and struck Spanswick’s vehicle head-on.
Willprecht had serious injuries and Spanswick had injuries that were not life-threatening, according to the Minnesota State Patrol.
According to the patrol, Spanswick was wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash, but Willprecht was not. Alcohol was not detected on either man, the patrol said.
Both were taken to the hospital in Perham.
