Cass and Cavalier counties were added to the Presidential Disaster Declaration, Gov. John Hoeven announced today.
The declaration was issued for June 2-18 storms and flooding, according to a news release.
"Inclusion of these counties in this disaster declaration will ensure they receive aid in the recovery process," Hoeven said in the release.
The two additional counties are eligible for public assistance reimbursement for public infrastructure repairs and removing debris.
With the addition, there are now 13 counties in declaration.
