BARNESVILLE, Minn. – Two motorcyclists were injured Saturday in a crash on the westbound exit ramp of Interstate 94, one mile north of Barnesville.

The accident involving a car and two motorcycles occurred at about noon on Saturday.

A male and female motorcyclist were traveling southbound on Highway 9. The pair was traveling in close proximity to each other when they collided with a red Chevy Cruze.

The driver of the car was exiting the westbound I-94 exit and was attempting to make a left turn when the collision happened.

The female motorcyclist was airlifted to an area hospital, and the male motorcyclist was transported by ambulance.

The female driver of the car was not injured and left the scene after speaking to Minnesota state troopers who are investigating the accident.

Officials have not released the names of the motorcycle riders or the driver. The extent of the injuries is still unknown.
