NEW RICHMOND, Wis.-Two of three inmates who escaped from a northwestern Wisconsin jail Wednesday night are back in custody.
Kyle J. Peterson was located by officers with the Whitewater Police Department at a Whitewater home on Friday, the New Richmond Police Department said in press releases. Peterson "was taken to the Walworth County Sheriff's Department, where he is presently confined," a release stated.
Andre L. Vance was located in Madison by the Dane County Sheriff's Department just before 3 p.m. Friday, a release said. He is being held in the Dane County Jail.
The third escapee -- Jesse J. Fairley -- is still at large.
Fairley, 25, is described as a 5-foot-8, 142-pound black man with black hair and brown eyes. He has ties to St. Paul, Minn., and was serving a sentence for burglary.
