Two people identified in rural Ulen crash

ULEN, Minn. - Authorities identified today two of the three people involved in a two-vehicle crash near here Friday. Mark Olson, 29, of Ada was the driver of the semitrailer, said Sgt.

ULEN, Minn. - Authorities identified today two of the three people involved in a two-vehicle crash near here Friday.

Mark Olson, 29, of Ada was the driver of the semitrailer, said Sgt. Ryan Alderman of the Clay County Sheriff's Department.

Jerry Wisk, 52, of Ulen was in the pickup involved with the collision, along with a 15-year-old male, Alderman said.

All three were transported to the hospital Friday afternoon following the crash.

The incident, reported at 1:19 p.m., occurred at the intersection of Clay County Road 33 and 140th Avenue, just west and south of Ulen.

A semitrailer heading south on Country Road 33 collided with a pickup truck driving west.

A MeritCare hospital spokeswoman said she had no condition report to release for Olson. As of Saturday morning, Wisk was in critical condition, she said.
