Two men have pleaded guilty in connection with a string of burglaries in Clay County this past summer.

As part of plea agreements, David Leo Erickson and Shaun Patrick Carlson, both 20 and of Glyndon, pleaded guilty in Clay County District Court to four counts of burglary each.

The men were originally charged with eight counts each.

Under the plea agreement, each is to serve six months in jail and pay a fine of $2,000.

They will also be responsible for restitution in all of the cases they were charged in, though the amounts have yet to be determined. At the time the men were charged in August, authorities estimated the value of tools and equipment taken in one of the burglaries at $9,500. Two plead guilty in Clay burglaries 20071005
