The final two defendants in an alleged theft ring that police say stole $150,000 in goods from Best Buy in Fargo made initial appearances in Cass County District Court this morning.

Garrett Johnson, an ex-player on the North Dakota State University football team, and Jeffery Ingersol, a former employee at Best Buy in Fargo, are two of the dozen defendants who face charges of felony theft in the case.

Johnson was arrested at an NDSU baseball game on Tuesday night, and Ingersol turned himself in to Cass County authorities on Wednesday.

Both men face a Class C felony count of theft of property and are accused of taking unpaid merchandise out of the electronics store.

Bail for Johnson was set by court order on Wednesday at $3,000 or 10 percent cash, and Judge Georgia Dawson set Ingersol's bail at the same amount.
