U.S. farm conference set for Oct. 30-31

The impact of the federal farm bill on U.S. agriculture will be discussed at the 21st Century Farm Policy: Challenges and Opportunities conference Oct. 30-31 at the Fargodome.

The impact of the federal farm bill on U.S. agriculture will be discussed at the 21st Century Farm Policy: Challenges and Opportunities conference Oct. 30-31 at the Fargodome.

The conference will also cover what will go into creating the next bill in 2007.

Featured speakers include Larry Combest, Sen. Kent Conrad, Ralph Grossi, John Gordley and Bruce Babcock.

Experts from the agriculture industry, government agencies and academia will also have presentations.

Registration is $60 per person or $100 after Saturday.
