GRAND FORKS, N.D. - The University of North Dakota's 28th Annual Writers' Conference in Children's Literature invites attendees to submit their work for critique at the Oct. 5-6 event.
The deadline for submissions is Aug. 24. The event will be hosted by UND.
Speakers include local authors Janice Tingum of Grand Forks and Randy Mortenson of Mayville, according to a news release.
Other speakers include Judy O'Malley from Charlesbridge Publishing in Boston; Laura Rinne from Lerner Publishing in Minneapolis; and Kathryn Galbraith, author of Laura Charlotte, an award-winning picture book, according to the release. Galbraith is from Tacoma, Wash.
