UPDATE: Missing Moorhead woman found safe

MOORHEAD — A Moohead woman who was reported missing has been found, police said.

Dakota Rhodes, who was reported missing late Sunday evening, Jan. 5, was located and is safe, the Moorhead Police Department said shortly before 10:40 a.m. Monday.

Moorhead police spokesman Capt. Deric Swenson said he had no other information to release on the case.

Rhodes had been missing since 7 p.m. Saturday, according to a Facebook post shared by friends Monday morning.

Another post described Rhodes as a “sacrificing, incredibly inspiring individual” and organizer. She volunteered for Reform Fargo, which successfully backed a measure to change Fargo's ballot to an approval voting system .

She also protested a visit by President Donald Trump to Fargo in September. The Forum spoke with her during the visit, when the newspaper reported she was 28 years old.
