GWINNER, N.D. - The North Dakota Highway Patrol has identified the woman who died in a head-on collision Wednesday morning north of Gwinner.
Mathilda Flores, 37, of Milnor, was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash, reported at 7:16 a.m. on Highway 32 near the border of Sargent and Ransom counties, according to a patrol news release.
Flores was on her way to work in Lisbon when the 2000 Saturn car she was driving crossed the centerline and collided head-on with a 2005 Ford pickup driven by 40-year-old Karla Gruba of Lisbon, who was on her way to work at Bobcat in Gwinner, the release stated.
Gruba was taken to the Lisbon hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The crash remains under investigation.
