An American flag that was flown over a military base in Balad, Iraq, will be flown over Moorhead City Hall until Friday.
The flag was provided by Capt. Cheryl Wachenheim on behalf the 834th Aviation Battalion.
The battalion sent the flag as a way of acknowledging the flood fight waged in Moorhead this spring.
The flag will be flown at City Hall this week before being moved to the mayor's office.
