Vaccine expert to speak at summit

Dr. Gregory Poland, head of the Mayo Clinic Vaccine Research Group, will be the keynote speaker Monday at the Red River Valley Research Corridor Action Summit.

Dr. Gregory Poland, head of the Mayo Clinic Vaccine Research Group, will be the keynote speaker Monday at the Red River Valley Research Corridor Action Summit.

The summit, which focuses on building a bioscience industry in North Dakota, will be at Pracs Institute, 4801 Amber Valley Parkway. It begins at 8:30 a.m.

Other speakers include experts from the National Institutes of Health, the Food and Drug Administration and other top research centers. The event is convened by U.S. Sen. Byron Dorgan, D-N.D.
