VELVA, N.D. - The Archer Daniels Midland Company biodiesel plant has opened outside of Velva.
The plant is adjacent to ADM's existing canola crushing plant. It will make 85 million gallons of biodiesel fuel each year from canola, employing at least 12 people full time. Construction began in April 2006.
