Verlyn Anderson, Concordia College professor emeritus, will present "The Roots of Modern Norway" from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 23 at the EasTen Fryn' Pan in Moorhead.
Anderson will discuss the major historical, economic and political factors that laid the groundwork for Norway's 20th century transformation from one of Europe's poorest nations to one of the wealthiest in the world.
Lunch, ordered off the menu, begins at 11:30 a.m. The presentation begins at noon. A fee of $7 for the presentation is charged; $3 is the reduced rate for Moorhead School District residents.
