GRAND FORKS - A Grand Forks teen is missing after apparently leaving his mother's residence with an adult female, the Grand Forks Police Department reported Tuesday.

At about 11:15 a.m. Monday, the mother of Eric Belliveau, 16, called police to report that her son was missing.

Officers began investigating and discovered that the teen had been corresponding online with an adult female claiming to be from another state. The investigation found that Belliveau likely met with the female in the 1100 block of Landeco Lane at around 9 a.m. Monday and willingly left with her in a vehicle, possibly a silver BMW with unknown plates.

According to police, Belliveau's mother described him as a "very vulnerable person who is easily led and taken advantage of."

The Police Department said Belliveau is 5 feet 4 inches tall, weighs 120 pounds and has short, cropped brown hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a red T-shirt and gray track pants with red stripes.
