The annual "Walk for Vision," which supports the work of the North Dakota Association of the Blind, is at 9 a.m. May 1 at the Bison Sports Arena at North Dakota State University.
The event creates awareness about the capabilities and needs of people with sight loss. It is also a fundraiser for adults who have experienced sight loss to attend a weeklong summer camp at Camp Grassick near Dawson, N.D., and also supports seminars, the association's annual convention and training for people who have lost their sight to use new technology.
