A warrant has been issued for a Glyndon, Minn., man wanted for questioning about an assault that left a woman with a severe knife wound to the neck.
The warrant stems from an unrelated burglary Gregory Kaiser, 38, was alleged to have been involved in "a couple of weeks ago," said Greg Warren of the West Fargo police Department.
Warren said charges relating to the stabbing were expected to be filed in Cass County District Court as early as Monday.
The stabbing victim, Tina Kaiser, 38, 436 7th Ave. E., West Fargo, was listed in stable condition Friday at a local hospital, according to police.
Gregory Kaiser is the victim's husband.

At about 9 a.m. Thursday, a juvenile called West Fargo police to 436 7th Ave. E. after telling them that Kaiser had just broken into his and his mother's apartment.
Police received a second call minutes later from the apartment manager stating someone had been stabbed in the throat and that Kaiser had left on foot.
Police tracked Kaiser's red 1999 Ford pickup to 12th Avenue and Elm Street in Fargo, just north of Jack William's Stadium.
The Red River Valley SWAT Team, out on a training session, searched the banks of the Red River from about 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. but did not find Kaiser.
Police said Kaiser is 6 feet, 3 inches tall, weighs about 240 pounds and has blond hair and green eyes.
Anyone with information about Kaiser's whereabouts should call (701) 282-4154.
