A water main break has in Moorhead has left three households without water and closed a lane of northbound traffic on 8th Street between 19th and 20th Avenues South.
The break occured Saturday night, according to a statement from Moorhead Public Service. Repairs will begin Sunday morning and are expected to be completed around 1 p.m. Sunday afternoon. Northbound traffic on 8th Street will be reduced to one lane for a few days while the road is repaired.
The company said it's working to provide water accomodations to the homes without service. It said it believes the break was caused by aging pipes.
