Moorhead residents living on a three-block stretch of Elm Street were notified Friday night their water service will be shut off until Saturday due to a water main break.
Thirty homes on Elm Street between Ninth and 12th avenues will be without water until about noon Saturday, said Doug Rogness, communications director for Moorhead Public Service.
At 8 p.m., service workers notified affected residents their water will be shut off at 9, Rogness said.
Due to poor visibility at night, crews are not able to repair the water line until morning, he said.
It was unknown Friday how the water line broke or the extent of damage.
