Fargo will enact watering restrictions from Memorial Day though Labor Day.
Residents whose street address ends with an even number can water on even-numbered days. Those with addresses ending in odd numbers can water on odd-numbered days. Lawns with new seed or sod can be watered for 15 consecutive days. Exceptions to the policy include watering gardens, flowers and newly planted trees and shrubs.
Residents who violate the policy will first receive a warning for noncompliance, but continued disregard will result in water services being disconnected. A fee of $25 is required to reconnect. For more information, call (701) 241-1469.
