PELICAN RAPIDS, Minn. - The Watoto Children's Choir from Kampala, Uganda, Africa, will present a Concert of Hope at 7 p.m. Tuesday at Trinity Lutheran Church, 211 E. Mill in Pelican Rapids.
Refreshments will be served and there will be a free-will offering.
The choir has regularly toured the United States, Canada and Great Britain since 1994. The children are among more than 880,000 children in Uganda who have lost one or both parents to AIDS.
This is the second performance at Trinity. A 2003 concert led to a recent mission trip to the Watoto Child Care Ministries in Kampala by 20 members of the congregation.
There will be a presentation on the mission trip at 7 tonight at the church.
