Shooting in Pennsylvania sparks manhunt

POLICE SEARCHING FOR SUSPECT IN DEADLY PENNSYLVANIA SHOOTING

WDAY News is following breaking news out of Pennsylvania.

One woman is dead and a manhunt is underway today after a shooting in State College, Pennsylvania. It's the town where Penn State University is located. Police say the shooting happened at PJ Harrigan's Bar and Grill. The shooter is still at large as police secure the area. Police say the situation is still developing.

WATER LEAK CAUSES MESS IN FARGO

The Fargo Streets and Water Departments will be back out in the cold to deal with a water leak.

On January 24th, the leak flooded 27th Street North between Third and Seventh Avenues. The Street Department worked all day to identify the problem, but eventually switched to cleaning it up. The department doesn't know what caused the problem, but says it's keeping an eye on it.

ARCTIC BLAST HITS THE MIDWEST

The Red River Valley isn't the only place getting smack by an arctic wave.

The entire upper Midwest is being wrapped up in the numbing cold. The deep freeze has already cancelled a number of events at Minnesota's Winter Carnival in the Twin Cities. Sioux Falls, South Dakota has already closed six outdoor skating rinks. The bitter cold is expected to linger into next week.
